Can I move my account to a different location?

During the contract period, each client is allowed to be moved to a different location for free once (between China, Hong Kong, Singapore, the United States and the UK, based on availability). Subsequent location changes are subject to a service fee of RMB100 each time.


The move is completedaccording to the following:

1) An equiavalent account is set up on the new location.

2) Client uploads his site files to the new server, and create email accounts if any.

3) Client notify us and we change the domain name servers to point to the new server (if the domain is controlled by us).

Please note that DNS changes can take up to 24h or more to come into effect.

For moves to the China server, we will need to confirm that client DNS has obtained an ICP license in order to comply with existing regulations.

We can also assist in migrating cPanel accounts for free, however this can take up to 2~4 days and is not guaranteed to work. We recommend to migrate accounts manually.
